Who are we?
We are Andrew and Candice Cronau, the people behind Grazing Pines Rural Contracting and Pro-Arc Mobile Welding. We were both born and raised on farms in the local area, growing predominantly sugar cane and pineapples, also grazing a few cattle. We were raised with good values and high standards and we expect the same of our staff.
In 2006, we bought our own cattle grazing property in the local area, along with machinery and equipment to maintain and improve it. We quickly became aware of the constant battle with noxious weeds and re-growth, and realized there was an opening in the industry to assist other graziers with similar problems through various forms of property maintenance.
Our Highly Qualified team is like no other!
Owner and Operator Andrew Cronau holds a Diploma in Horticulture & CALM (Conservation and Land Management), while his supervisors hold Certificate 3 in the same field. Candice Cronau holds a Diploma in Business.
Our team members are also highly qualified.
Our staff are fully ticketed/qualified to carry out the services we offer such as Tractor & Excavator Operations, First Aid, Chainsaw & Polesaw, White Card, Fatigue Management, WET (Working in Electrified Territory), Mobile Chipper & Mulcher, Traffic Management, Working at Heights and more.
We are also one of the few contractors who hold all the relevant qualifications to fully access and work in the rail corridor independently of Queensland Rail. The majority of our staff hold Rail Corridor Protection Officer status (RCPO) and all staff hold Safely Access the Rail Corridor qualifications (SARC).
Grazing Pines also holds a current Ground Distribution Licence, which enables us to spray herbicides for our customers. Our tam members also hold their Commercial Applicators Licence (ACDC ticket) which enables our staff to apply the herbicides.
